The Air Jordan 11 "DMP" is rumored to join the coveted Holiday release lineup this Holiday 2023 season.
Originally released in 2006, the Jordan Brand released a "Defining Moments Pack' meant to commemorate the sneakers worn in Michael Jordan's first championship from each of his three-peats championship runs. The Air Jordan 6 worn in 1991 against the Los Angeles Lakers led by Magic Johnson and the Air Jordan 11 worn in 1996 against the Seattle Supersonics led by Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton.

Becoming Jordan Brand's first ever two-shoe drop the release was a historical moment in the way the brand released shoes with packs such as the Countdown Packs (CDP) in 2008, Golden Moments Pack (GMP) in 2012 and the Ultimate Gift of Flight (Pantone) Pack in 2014. With it's special packaging, golden dog tags and exclusive availability, this release added to the growing hype of sneakerhead culture in the 2000s.

Adding to this already exclusive release was the even more limited number of sample pairs released of the Air Jordan 11 "DMP" with "JORDAN" printed in gold along the eyelets of the shoe. Highly coveted these pairs were always circulating in some of the most active sneaker groups back in the day selling at prices 3x-5x more than the original pairs.
While Jordan Brand brought back the Air Jordan 6 "DMP" in the spring of 2020 releasing a near identical copy of the original 2006 pair, we have not heard of any concrete information until this year for the Air Jordan 11 "DMP". Considered a grail in many collector's minds we can only hope Jordan Brand can Do The Right Thing and re-release the Air Jordan 11 "DMP"
More information is expected from Jordan Brand throughout the year.
