Jordan 3 Retro Fire Red Cement (Nike Chi)

The Air Jordan 3 Retro Fire Red Cement (Nike Chi) edition was made exclusively for the host of the 2020 NBA All-Star festivities, the Windy City. Identical to the general release, this pair comes in a varsity red and cement grey colorway. Featuring a red-based leather upper with traditional black and cement grey accents and elephant print detailing. An “OG” edition, they feature an truer shape to the original upper as well as iconic “Nike Air” branding on the back heels and insoles. The main difference here from the general release version is that this pair features “Nike Chi” on the heels as opposed to “Nike Air.” The “Chi” on the back is a nod to the city of Chicago and the place Michael Jordan called home for the majority of his professional basketball career.




Originally released in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 has become one of the most popular sneakers of all-time. The first Air Jordan sneaker designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, they also served as the debut of the “Jumpman” logo we all know and love today. This replaced his original “Wings” logo that was found on the AJ1 and AJ2. The Air Jordan 3 was also the first signature sneaker of Michael Jordan to feature a visible Air unit in the heel.




The Air Jordan 3 Retro Fire Red Cement (Nike Chi) is set to release on February 22nd, 2020. It will launch via Nike & select stores in the Chicago area for a retail price of $200. They will be available exclusively in men’s sizing.
